  1. Looks great man. Can't wait to see the rest of the army.
  2. I use groupme a lot, I don't like posting onto mom or PP forums but I do post on cog collective and focus and Fury forums.
  3. New Hordes book is out in October. The app we use to communicate is called "groupme". Pretty much a chat room that uses text (sms) like stuff. Pretty good tool to use for a big community. The cog site might be dead but people still use it often to schedule events and post hobby stuff.
  4. This forums is mostly Warhammer oriented so not too surprised warmachine/Hordes would be dead on this forum but warmachine/Hordes is alive and well in Portland and salem/Albany area. Www.cogcollective.com is the website/forum most used for warmachine/Hordes in the Portland area, they have probably 30-40 players in their meta, maybe more.
  5. Right that was a huge disappointment for me since I have gotten used to models with extreme overhang
  6. There is a game night at borderlands games Thursday night at 6 and haven gaming on Tuesday at 5pm
  7. Very nice battle report. Remember you can heal your beasts 1fury for 1hp during your warlocks activation.
  8. as long as you understand you will be in a hole starting the game. Tactics will be the absolute key since you have near no damage output. Just learn from the games and know how to improve for next time.
  9. No heavy? That is a huge undertaking to take on heavy armor or even a single khador jack.
  10. Occultation on ravagers should keep them alive some but their mileage varies, you might think of grabbing a witch doctor and dropping Lord of the Fiesta to give ravagers tough. I think skinwalkers are a hell of a lot better than ravages.
  11. So stealth first turn is really not that big of a. Benefit unless you go first or facing a highly specialized shooting force. Some tier benefits just aren't worth it and most theme forces aren't worth building in the long run especially with how constrictive they can be. Krueger2 loves his wolds because he has a fantastic spell list to spam. Megalith is the best choice but woldwarden can do the job as well. He likes druids but they aren't a necessity, I would run skin walkers and bloodtrackers (or druids) something out front to screen heavy hitters and Krueger2.
  12. Wonderful. Good luck!
  13. they are just alternate sculpts. same rules
  14. No idea what your lgs is but gg in pdx, borderlands and MBC in Salem all have a pretty good stock of models. Let me digest the rest of your post and I will see what I can come up with.
  15. List submission deadline will be May 17th, and the league will start on May 31st. Once validated, all lists will be sent to your opponents. This season, the divisions will be seeded, We will make our best judgment at your skill level and place you in the appropriate division. The actual form the divisions take, will depend on involvement, with the number of players signed up determining the actual numbers of the divisions and their content. So, the Good Stuff; 35 point lists 2 lists required No painting requirements Deathclock timing 2014 Masters scenarios and scoring packet Divide and Conquer - 1 (each list must be played once) When we break from the standard league, to the playoffs, Divide and Conquer will reset and you must play each list at least once. At this point in the event, players will be allowed to change their lists. So basically, you don't have to play the same lists during the playoffs as during the regular season. The winner of each division will earn a spot in the playoffs. There will then be a number of wild card slots for the remaining positions. The ranking of these will be as follows; 1st-Overall record, 2nd-Controll Points, 3rd-Army Points destroyed All other variables will be Baseline Each week you will be scheduled a game. It is strongly suggested that you play that game by the end of the week, but will not be required. Both players will be responsible to schedule their game, and they can play wherever they like (I'm a big believer in the honor system). When you complete a game, you can either tell me in person, or via PM here or by email to Lucas.p.gandy@gmail.com. The information you need to include is; Player names Warcasters/Warlocks used Who won Win condition (Assassination, Scenario, Deathclock) Control Points/Army Points both players earned Entry Fee: TBD
  16. I am sure someone is down at MBC that can help you get some practice games in. Also a local is holding his own private tournament at MBC which would be some. Great practice with the format. No buy-in, should be some good casual games.
  17. Pp's new app, privateer press digital, has all the books you can buy and download to your eReader or phone or whatever.
  18. You have to have an Internet connection of some kind and then one person hosts and the other joins.
  19. He is implying, he wants the whole set gone first and that person has the first dibs of getting the add-ons before they become available to everyone. Easy peezy
  20. http://cogcollective.com On the main site a little ways down are people's lists for the i5 team championship tournament in March. You can get some ideas of circle builds there.
