So I recently grabbed my copy of 7th edition and read through the rules and it seams that the expansions like cities of death and planet strike are still usable with the new rules. Can anyone tell me if I am correct in this assuming this or are these books now just there for historical purposes now?

I am looking for a gale force 9 pinning tool if anyone has one. There is no better tool for magnetizing and I lost mine. Its the one with the wood ball handle. Please let me know if anyone has one they can part with I am trying to get more how to magnetize videos done and I need my tool to finish.

I really like the 3200K color temperature lamps they give a warm feeling to the picture. Its the staple color temperature for broadcast video and being a video guy it makes me happy. Alzo digital has a line of compact florescent for photo and video applications in various color temperatures that are accurate. Most CFL's very in there actual color temperature. They have them from 75 watt incandescent equivalent all the way up to th3 300watt equivalents. They all can screw into a standard light socket. I do want to add the ones that are the equivalent of 300watt bulbs are extremely large about a inch and a half bigger in diameter than a standard CFL and about 9 and half inches long so you need to take that into consideration. Daylight is 5600K color temperature if you like the natural look.

I have built my xwing equally so I have about 2 200point squadrons so i have extra ships.

I have said it once I will say it again competitive play is taken so seriously in this game you would think the prizes would be worth some real money lol Its a game! Enjoy it and the surprises that come with it! It will make us all more hardened veteran commanders!

I love the new codexes coming out to me it keeps the game fresh. There is never a dominant army for long if at all by the time there all released. Seams to me by the time there all out every army will have enemies they are designed to beat and others there designed to do poorly against. I also think it give it a more realistic feel as in war Surprises always happen. In war commanders are not issued books that list there opponents abilities and tricks so when someone in a tournament gets blindsided by a new rule for an army to me its par of the fog of war. But really if people are spending that much time and money buying books and studying them you would think the tournament prize packages would be real money in large quantities lol

This is all great input. We really don't have the set up to do our own sound effects from scratch yet so were working with what we can find on the web. If there are any sound designers out there that want to help build the fx library that would rock. This is deffinetly a great conversation though.

After all me going chop choo choo in a high squeaky voice won't cut it.
