Will there be any paint judging for the Saturday stuff?

Heck yeah, Rage. I believe you and I were talking last year about getting some Malifaux in, though we didn't quite manage to connect for any actual games. I need to schedule everything rather than just show up on a game night, so that might be a little restrictive, but I'm totally up for a game. I'd play twice a week if I could. In any case, maybe I need to schedule a weekend trip down to Tacoma once the new stuff is out. The Game Matrix sounds promising.

Makes sense ... you definitely wouldn't want the plastics on the shelves at the same time as the metals, the new shinies competing with older stuff. I'd like to think a company would offer some kind of buy-back scheme for previous-edition merchandise in that case, but ... apparently not! Whatever broke with the change to 2E, I hope the scene bounces back. Podcasts seem to indicate the game is flourishing in spite of the rocky shift, though locally, I find it hard to tell. It'd be nice to have an LFGS again. It seems wrong that a major city like Seattle is so short on Malifaux.

What's handled? They didn't just start offering plastic to stores?

Card Kingdom did not, last I checked, but I will check out GnG when she starts shipping. The only other store I know that carries Malifaux is in San Francisco, so even a little stock is a good thing. I didn't think it was just crew boxes, but selected bits of everything. Not true? I'm planning on getting the new gremlins anyway, for they are groovy. :)

I hear the special edition Johanna is on her way, and I'd love to get my hands on one! Unfortunately I haven't seen Malifaux on the shelves since I moved to Seattle. Is there an LFGS here that carries the game? Seattle Wargaming was where I got my first fix, but they, alas, are long gone.

Hey y'all, is Malifaux night at Card Kingdom a regular thing, or only when there's interest? I keep meaning to drag myself over to Ballard for a game but am concerned I'll find all Warmachine and have to go home. :) What soulstone limit do you tend to play?
