Touche....Judging by my "performance" at the recent BSB where I think I had the third lowest battle score....not to mention that there was a 10 year old kid playing and he scored better than I did.....I also heard a rumor that there were two players in the event that decided to play the 2,400 point event with only 1,200 points (I don't know where they finished).

Hey All: So the Friday event is a WFB doubles event? This sounds fun. Is there something official somewhere as to the mechanics? Meanwhile, if anyone out there wants to double up (I assume its open teams, i.e. not Team Challenge teams) and play with me and my orcs...let's talk!

Here are some new goblin heroes that I made for the recent Black Sheep Brawl....Mirko and Meggo. Those who played against my orcs in the old days will remember Mirko as a lil' goblin boss who more often than not made himself into more than a royal pain for the enemy...far more than a goblin boss should have been able to. So...in getting back to orcs recently...I thought it would be fun to make a new Mirko mounted on one of the cool 40k Fenrisian wolves. The legs are wolf riders, the heads are "sneaky stabba" heads, the axes are from the Black Orc kit and I made the rest. Mirko always had some lil' bit of cheatin' to help him in the old days (remember "Wallapa's One Hit Wonder"?)...so I made him with a potion to swig. While making one...I thought I might as well make two....so I made him a brother, Meggo. Here they are....

The BSB really was a great event....we'll run...on time with interesting scenarios, great tables and nicely painted armies. Thanks to the Black Sheep gang for hosting the thing! As for myself, I'm not sure I have ever played a 5 game event where I laid so many eggs. I think I learned a thing or two about playing orcs these days, said hello to some guys I hadn't seen in a while, and met some new nice fellows. ....'till next time!

Thanks for the tip! I'm looking forward to Gorthol taking the big S9 hit right on the top of his Black Orcy head and ward saving it.

Hey all: does a character in a chariot benefit from a ward save? I hope so...if not I threw away some points in my BSB list.

...and if I'm making move trays on Wednesday....that means I'm not down to the wire. Which isn't saying much considering that I only had two figures to make and paint for the event. . Nothin like staying within ones abilities.

OK so I'm making some movement trays for my Orcs. I haven't played orcs in a long time and been playing 20mm type armies and more MSU style stuff prior to 8th edition. Enter the modern game of big units combined with 25mm Orc bases and Holy crap these units are huge. I think I had an entire dark elf army from the old days that would fit on one of my Orc move trays ????

OKso is there a way to get more than 5 favorite opponent pins? The max bonus point level is 10 points for "at least" 5. There are only 5 rounds true? Also...bonus points in scenario 1 look like you will get 1, 2 or 5, true? Finally (for today) are special characters allowed?

All: So it seems that the "approved teams" thing for OFCC is subject to teams making their payment by a certain date and if they don't, an "alternate" team gets a shot to pay and get in.....is that right? Here's my situation....I really dig this event and want to make sure that I can plan ahead and do the thing. So.....can anybody who knows Hero Zero ping him to contact me? It doesn't look like our team from 2014 is on either list and I'd like to find out what our status is and if I need to start knocking on castle doors looking for a team. Also, are their different rules for team army duplication this year?

All: forgive me if I should have seen this somewhere, but what are the rules for team composition? How does it work in terms of duplicate armies, etc.?

Wow. I would have loved to play at Borderlands today. The calendar on the Borderlands site is so sporadically updated, it would seem worth it to make a post on the Ordo calendar so that people could know about these events prior to the night before (or in my case, 3 hours after it starts).

Hey All: I have been away from the forum for a while and y'all have been busy! I thought I was on a team, but it doesn't look like we are on "the list". Perhaps I am mistaken, and I have queried my 2014 captain...and await his response. So.....it looks like I am once again a ronin looking for a cause for the OFCC. I am fairly set on playing Orcs this year. if a team needs a fourth, let me know.....

I forgot about the lookout sir thing....the reason why I asked was that I thought there must be something I wasn't thinking about. Probably will go back to on foot...which is a shame cuz I have a mounted one that I like. As for End times and all that....the only way I'd use the undead magic is if I made myself a bunch of zombie/skeleton orcs.
