  1. I wanted to start a share for STL files on the interwebs. STL files for those who are unfamiliar, are 3D files which are used to 3D print models. There are several search engines for finding 3D models, but to be honest, you find the best stuff by just aimlessly scrolling through pages. To start, this is a print that reminded me of @Pecksata's army of construct samurai in a desert theme. It is a bit out of his particular army aesthetic, but its a pretty unique model concept that checks the desert and samurai boxes pretty well. https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/ozito-beetle-samurai
  2. Flip testing pewter?! Those are some serious cajones sir What are you giving up to add in 15 Forest Guard?
  3. No doubt the rule book is not inspiring. It’s good at not leaving ambiguity, but lacks flavor. I’d be down to play a game with either of you. Or even be the rules ref while you play each other. Or do a 3 way FFA and encourage you both to gang up on me. Whatever your pleasure. To me, location to play is the biggest consideration. I am not as keen playing at Ordo since it has almost no ventilation. I could host with some lead time (Foster-Powell neighborhood).
  4. Don’t like abstract? You are going to hate my next army project 😇
  5. I am printing my entire next army, so no salt. In fact, I think most people would be happy to not see GW on the table. Its not a game that produces new models and forces players to buy them to keep up in the arms race meta, so there is no "I paid the extra $$ to play this at a high level, and you are just proxying trash" mentalities. Mantic's dwarves are awful, I got a few units of theirs, they have ranking issues. Andrew describes dwarves pretty well. Very elite, you can go between gunline and full combat, with mixed arms being the nice in between. The big downside to the army is t
  6. hey @Damunky just wanted to check in to see how you are doing? It's rather unfortunate you got your first taste of T9A right before the great lockdown. Did you end up getting your Dark Elves? Have you had a chance to play some sort of practice game? Looking forward to hopefully getting to play a game with you once we are back to gaming.
  7. So what if the grail was simply Fimbriation with a coloured inside.
  8. PROGRESS! It has been some time since I painted anything. I finally got the itch for painting again after a few months hiatus. Working on a unit of grail knights, or maybe they will be realm knights, or aspirants. All the same thing really... As per usual, going with mass production and painting on sprue. I didn't take any pictures of the WIP until this point, so this is most of the way through. For this unit I am using 6 bright colors; purple, white, yellow, blue, red, green. This batch is 12 models, so in traditional equality-tane fashion everything is in duplicates of 2.
  9. Umm, Since the great shutdown I have..... Primed 12 knights Hand painted a Duke for about 3 hours, then made a terrible mistake that will take me another hour to fix >_<. Staying far too busy for my own good.
  10. Oh dang, hell level speed runs with a hammer pally. That’s quite the marathon speed run. the army looks great too 😉

  15. Well, to your credit, end of Feb falls on a leap day this year, so your internal calendar is just a bit misaligned.
  16. I could get a game in on Sunday. I’ll probably try to pair you against someone else and just be there for rules help. But if all else fails, I’ll overrun you with a swarm of skinks
  17. I've got extra space. There will be one other (Kenyon Duncan) staying at my place for MtW. Kenyon is flying (I presume), so I was going to give him dibs on the inflatable bed. I think I have a spare inflatable, and I also have a couch. I am 4.3 miles from the venue.
  18. I can usually play on weekdays. I also work downtown so Guardian works for me. If nothing else we could meet up for a drink, or introduce you to the clubhouse if you have not been there yet. welcome to portland!
  19. Hey Ben, I forgot to reply to this ages ago. I’m available if you still plan on coming down. There is a chance I’ll also be available on the weekend if the 29th, but that is up in the air
