  6. The Portland Game Store has been hosting miniature painting groups on Saturdays, with a painting workshop once each month focused on specific techniques. We are looking for more people interested in doing the instruction for the 1 to 2 hour painting workshops. The paints and miniatures for the workshops are provided by the store. If you are interested, please contact Hans at hans@portlandgamestore.com.
  7. Hello! I would like to get a game night going for 40K or AoS in North Portland. We are opening a new gaming space on July 28th at 922 N Killingsworth. I'm looking for help getting a regular game night or league going. We will have a great volunteer incentive program, so let me know if there are any North Portlanders out there interested. Thanks! 8. This blog is awesome, totally a must read for anyone thinking about getting into the business. He has also done a couple of great live interviews about the business.
  9. I have been eyeing those F.A.T. Mats myself. They would be a great add to the space. I reached out to Frontline Gaming about them. Thanks!
  10. I was going the direction of inventory insurance, but if I could get the landlord to invest in some tank traps it would save me money AND look cool in front of the store!
  11. I'm looking for thoughts/comments/suggestions on what would make a great gaming space for tactical minitaure games (WH40K, WarmaHordes, X-Wing). All feedback is welcome, but I am looking for your opinions on what to buy/build in terms of tables/chairs, terrain, playmats, environment, etc.. I really appreciate all the feedback I can get. The store and game room will be located on N. Killingsworth and N. Mississippi, opening in July. -Hans
