For those that have not seen the post on the Phoenix Nest FB page. I will be running some demos for 9th Age Fantasy Battles (Very well developed, Fan written WFB 9th edition) on Sat. April 30th at 3:00PM at Phoenix nest games in Athens. Any and all are welcome to come and participate. I will have at least 4 armies for demo purposes and will try to run several games at one. All the rules and army lists can be found and downloaded at the following site, under the "Rules" heading for free. http://www.the-ninth-age.com The latest version will become the official V-1.0 as of April 30th, so these will be the rules at least until fall, which is when the next review/revisions are scheduled (after the ETC this fall). Greetings all. Was referred to these forums after meeting members of the new Ohio Group at Phoenix Nest Games today. Figured was best to introduce myself I'm Corey or TheArmoredRock. I'm a long time resident of SE Ohio near Ohio University. I'm a veteran wargamer for over 25 years. While my primary focus is and has been WFB, I am now transitioning to "The 9th Age" (Fan supported and developed version of WFB 9th edition), KoW and Malifaux. I am also just getting into 40K with those dirty Tau! I am also a co-host of the Model Citizens (formerly Boltgun's Battle Brothers) podcast based out of Columbus, Ohio with Allen Blount, former GW employee. This has been a wargaming deadzone for a long time and most of my gaming was in the Columbus Area.
