LVO was an amazing event. The quality of the players and the armies was outstanding. Getting to chat with the GW guys from across the pond was also great. This was my first year, but I'll definitely go again next year. My Sylvaneth had 2 Major Wins and 4 Major Losses which is as well as I expected having only played a half dozen gams previously, and fielding half my army (Alarielle and 9 Kurnoth Hunters) for the first time. I played the guy with the Stormcast army who won the tournament. He was a nice guy and very focused player. I surrendered at the bottom of Turn 3, he'd already destroyed my heavy hitters and gained an insurmountable lead in VP's. I also played the guy who "won" the Wooden Spoon after losing all 6 rounds. His army seemed solid, Flesh Eater Courts w/ 2 heroes on Terrorgheists with tons (60?) of ghouls and a battalion. He let his Ghoul King Terrorgheist lead the charge and when I took it down, he surrendered immediately. I also had great games against an old school Empire (Win) and Brettonian (Loss) armies, and newer Ogre and Death armies. Vegas is a blast anytime. Adding 6 rounds of gaming only makes it better.
