While we were up in Seattle last week, Pete and I found rubber base molds made by a local company. The concept is that you take a normal plastic base and spread a layer of modeling epoxy (green stuff or similar) Then press the mold onto the base. Each mold is $5. Takes a little practice to get the mold to set just right (make sure to watch the instruction video), but it is a cheep alternative to resin bases. Thanks for the responses. Currently I am working on my Riot Grrrls. Giving them armor inspired by the Knight Sabers hardsuits in the anime Bublegum Crisis 2040. PS bubblegum crisis has one of the most sensible ways of getting into heavy armor that I have seen in a show.

Finally got the itch to start painting again. Finally finishing up some figures that have been a waiting for those last few touches like my Daktari!
