There are no starting gear restrictions, Hired Guns, Brutes, or House Specific Items/gangers. Buy all the things!

Oh, another question, how do you plan to handle Tactics Cards?

Depending on which rulebook (or *cough*webpage*cough*) you’re looking at the page number will be different, but under the Post-Battle Sequence section you should find rules for Gaining Experience.
6 XP: The fighter gains a random skill from one of their Primary Skill Sets;
9 XP: The fighter gains a skill of your choice from one of their Primary Skill Sets;
9 XP: The fighter gains a random skill from one of their Secondary Skill Sets;
12 XP: The fighter gains a skill of your choice from one of their Secondary Skill Sets;
15 XP: The fighter gains a random skill from any Skill Set.

Alright! In that case, I think that the Palanite Enforcers' After-Schola Program is ready to protect the people, spread Lord Helmwar's justice, and teach the youth
what a beanbag round tastes like from point blank rangehow to serve the Emperor!

Gangs will start with 2000 credits, and 40 skill points to assign.
Adding Skills to gang members increases the cost of that ganger. Does this increase in cost come out of that initial 2,000 Credit budget or is it "free"?

Tuesday or Thursday at WOW works for me. Especially if the games can be pre-scheduled.
October seems like a great time to start.
I live up in St. John’s and don’t drive. So getting anywhere in the city is a bit of a chore, but I work downtown practically right across the river from WOW.

Well, that just saved me $120!

Do you have plans to incorporate the vehicles and/or mounts introduced with Ash Wastes?
I’ve got some ideas, but need to work it into my budget.

Together, the three of use can <s>exploit and oppress</s> serve and protect the <s>unwashed masses</s> loyal citizens!

Van Saar, Orlocks, and Enforcers so far.

Wait… Whut? The core infantry of the Mechanicum who have been the core infantry of the Mechanicum since before the Unification War aren’t in the game at all!?

That’s ten.

Considering my main army for WH40k these days is Adeptus Custodes/Sisters of Silence, I’ve already got the models…
But, damn, are the rulebooks expensive.
-
The last several campaigns run at Ordo all used the current Necromunda rules.

It’s been a few years, but I’m a huge fan of all the Saga games.

That’s eight interested people so far…

@Ish is it the looks or the mechanics? If it's looks then you can always use proxies and there are so many 3D models out there built and scaled for legion.
I know bugger all about the mechanics of the game, beyond the very basics “Rebels are jack-of-all-trades types, Empire are elite, Clones are even more elite, and Separatists are horde-y.”
Aesthetically, it’s hard to top the Galactic Empire. But I just kinda feel like they’re going to be the “Space Marines” of the game. Over played, over pushed, and just kinda bland because of it.
I’ve got an idea in my head for an army that consists of Emperor Palpatine, a bare minimum number of Stormtroopers, and as many units of Imperial Royal Guard as I can possibly field. Because #PalpatineDidNothingWrong
It would cost about $150-200 to put together.
Here’s what I threw together. I have only the vaguest idea what any of this stuff does. (Other than bring peace and stability to a galaxy long suffering under the oppressive heel of the Jedi.)
UNITS
- Emperor Palpatine (Burst of Speed; Force Barrier; Force Push) [ 220 Points ]
- Imperial Officer (Improvised Orders) [ 55 Points ]
- Bossk (Hunter; Targeting Scope) [ 115 Points ]
- Stormtroopers (FX-9 Medical Droid) [ 63 Points ]
- Stormtroopers (Electrobinoculars) [ 52 Points ]
- Stormtroopers (Electrobinoculars) [ 52 Points ]
- Imperial Royal Guards (Electrostaff Guard; Protector) [ 95 Points ]
- Imperial Royal Guards (Protector) [ 74 Points ]
- Imperial Royal Guards (Protector) [ 74 Points ]
COMMANDS
Ambush; An Entire Legion; And Now You Will Die; Coordinated Fire; Give In To Your Anger; Push; Standing Orders- 2

I keep waffling on this game. The problem I have with most Star Wars games is there isn’t really any faction that “grabs hold” of me.

If you don’t get some sort of “con crud” at a geek convention, does it really count?

My Star Schlock Kickstarter arrived today!
We’re now in the closing hours of the second Star Schlock kickstarter. This time, there’s Space Apes from the madhouse world of Simian VII and the brave Explorer Corps boldly going where cheesy 70’s and 80’s sci-fi went before.
I still haven’t painted the bevy of figures I got from the previous kickstarter, which skewed more towards 50’s/60’s sci-fi… But one day I’ll get to them. There’s going to be an actual Star Schlock game this time around, which looks pretty cool. But even if I only ever use this figures for RPGs or Stargrave or whatever.
