Thanks to Eric, Pete and Joel for Sunday! Jeremy and I had a lot of fun. Joel's USARF didn't make it easy for my Corregidor and I heard tales of a certain Amazon biker's skills and an army of Haqqislamites on the drive back. Sorry you couldn't make it CliffsidePDX, but there are more important things than gaming. We probably won't make it this weekend but we had a good time and are planning on coming out more regularly; I think we're aiming for at least once a month to start. Sunday is kind of an odd day for both of us due to work schedules. Saturday is our regular gaming day so if that ever becomes a thing, we would very much be interested. However, we are both interested in participating in the Fall league and will be by much more frequently than once a month for that if we do!

Hey all, My friend (Jeremy) and I spent Saturday at OFCC and had a lot of fun checking everything out and chatting with some of you. Just wanted to say thanks to all the organizers for putting this together and for everyone there for being so welcoming and letting us poke around and bug you all while you were playing. Thanks to Jay, Pete, Jeff, and Darron especially who we bugged more than others since I had talked to or at least briefly met you lot when I was at the club a few weeks ago. Joey? (sorry, if I got the name wrong) from Bellingham Warhamsters was also super friendly and spent a lot of time chatting with us and my friend in particular about Morats and Combined Army strategy. There were a few others who took some time to chat with us whose names I didn't get and it was nice meeting George as well. But really everyone there was great and we regretted not being able to play this year. Hopefully next year we will actually be able to participate instead of just observe but in the meantime I think this went a long way in convincing my friend to *maybe* come down to the club with me sometime to play. I would like to start doing so more often and am hoping to find time to participate in the upcoming Fall league. Thanks again and looking forward to next year!

I *might* come by if I can drag myself down there (and find the place) but please don't expect me. If no one is available for a game that is totally fine. Oh, and unfortunately all my figures are currently primed only. I haven't painted miniatures in a long time and I haven't yet worked myself back into the whole process of throwing paint at miniatures again, as much as I was hoping to have some paint down at this point. Is that cool? And how many lists and how many points for the list(s) do you normally play?

$5 is more than reasonable for the opportunity for some gaming if we are up to it. And nice to hear there will be boardgames and such if we don't bring our minis. Thank you for the info and welcome! We are very much looking forward to going!

Hello, My friend and I have been playing Infinity for about 8 months now and I've been lurking around here for awhile as we are considering the idea of joining the community. We are planning on attending OFCC on Saturday and possibly Friday to scope things out but I don't think either of us have enough painted or are comfortable enough yet to participate in the tournaments. My question is, according to this post: we don't need a ticket to observe? Would we need to purchase a ticket if we bring our stuff and feel comfortable enough to participate in some open gaming after the tournaments? I fully understand if we do, I just want to verify ahead of time to make sure we do things correctly. Thank you!
