I think, if they are making objective holding more important, ala itc, that objective secured rules should make troops valuable outside of there killing power. Tanks take ground, troops hold it

I kinda hope they reduce the #of stratagems available to an army for each game. Maybe pick a hand of 10 from all those available to your force before each game. I can't keep track of all the things I can do.

Its week 8 of the Hobby challenge! Same rules as have been in effect. For this week I am going to point out that the website https://www.goonhammer.com/announcing-the-goonhammer-lockdown-painting-contest/ is having a painting contest with the main rule being anything you started after March 15(which matches really well with this). Lets see if we can get some club representation in their winnings. Also they have prize support. For my personal progress I base painted all 9 remaining chaos warriors. I'm going to hold off on pictures because I want to show them off in all grandeur when fully completed.

I'm looking to get 4-5 primaris reivers, preferably with knife and pistol combo.

Basically you can take 3-6 dreads for every hq choice. See vanguard detachment. You can't take more than 3 of any given unit. Your force won't be the absolute best, but it will be interesting and very easy to get table ready and transport

Recall that the dreads and venerable dreads are different so without even trying you can take 6, add in the redemptor primaris dreads and you have 9. It's not to bad, your high tough and wounds turned off most of the opponents small arms fire and all these are beasts in melee. Harder to deal with hordes
