I’ll have to break out everything I’ve done later on, but for now here’s the most recent model, a Terminator Captain. He had a rough time at the priming stage so I intended just to use him as a tester, but I think he turned out table ready in the end.

Thanks! I’ve messed around with several approaches to white, and I’ll probably continue to. For vehicles like this I prime with pure white and the paint on Ulthuan Gray almost using a dryrush technique so there’s very little paint on the brush. It takes a while, but I like how it comes out.

I finished the second half of a tactical squad for my White Scars yesterday. Next up will be a Rhino for them to ride off into the sunset in, since their not Primaris! (I’ll still run them)

oh, duh, I was confusing the name with Beastgrave. yeah, Underworlds uses a hex board, that just slipped my mind.

That for Underworlds? I’ve been playing the PC adaptation of the game, and loving it. If you’ll play on the tabletop, maybe I’ll get some minis.

This is the old Kor’sarro Khan model from before he went Primaris. I’m using him as a generic captain with a relic blade.

Did someone call a hunting party? Among these guys are my very first ever painted miniatures, now painted over, of course. Some of these were Imperial Fists before, and some test models for a Black Templars force that never came to be. Now they all join my White Scars as Ebon Keshig, who wear an alternate livery signifying their... special qualities that have made them a part of that brotherhood. They join my previously painted Aggressors in this small contingent of the army: Of course I need an HQ to finish out the patrol detachment. Fortunately, I have just the model. The old Kor’sarro Khan from before he got Primarisized!

Rainy Day Games in Beaverton also has it. I went buy yesterday to get a couple of paints.

Home Depot should have something close enough. I got bothered by a couple of rules-illegal demi squads I had from when I first started buying and painting, so I decided to combine those with a few test models I had done in Black Templars colors and convert the whole lot over to Ebon Keshig White Scars. Pics to come.

the bases are primed white to begin with (as is the whole model), then once all the painting is done I use Citadel Valhallan Blizzard texture paint for the clumpy snow. Then I sprayed just a tiny bit of the white primer from a rattlecan over them as the final touch
