  3. It's going to be a rowdy game night! We'll have 9 tables of 40k; 8 of them going towards our second monthly (WTC) teams round.
  4. Fellow Fanatics, Your '24 Senate will be gathering for a monthly melding of the minds. An agenda is pending; but one goal I can share for this meeting will be minutes recorded and posted for all to view. I have volunteered for this task, so looking for ya'll to keep me honest! 🙇🏽‍♂️🙇🏽‍♀️
  5. Fellow Fanatics, There is a Google calendar for Warhammer 40k tournaments, leagues, and major US events for the latter quarter of 2023 and the bulk of 2024. You can find it here. As of this post, I'm the one updating it. The initial criteria was events within a day's trip from PDX (Bethany, specifically.) Since Chase of Pecking Order has included this Google calendar on his website and discord channel, I've expanded it to the Pacific Northwest (OR, WA, ID, BC) and those huge events bringing in the hundreds. May this resource motivate; or bring fear!
  6. Fellow Fanatics, Your '24 Senate will be conducting their first meeting this Sunday. By the graces of our Consul and Proconsul, there will be a printed agenda. Among many other topics, I'm sure the topic of "how much should Warwick overshare?" will be addressed. Because I'll do it, you know. I'll overshare in paragraphs. Paragraphs!!! 📝🤪 From our Consul and Proconsul, topics of discussion will be: Championship Drive/Push for '24 OFCC Planning Committee Reports on Past Leagues/Events BCC Blood Bowl Necromunda Updates to Game Night Schedule
  7. Fellow Ordo Fanatics, May this proclamation find you in good health and cheer. Per our charter, a new Senate has been raised from the glory of the old. Below you will find the roster of peers who have stepped forward to volunteer time and efforts to the administrative duties necessary to facilitate a most excellent environment for our fellow hobbyists and wargamers. Some of these names you will be familiar with – those empowered by you and your success – while others are new, seeking to emulate the dedication of those who came before. Each of us are here to build on our shared ethos of fun, quality time, and sportsmanship. Alex Elmore, Campaign Czar. @Spacy Barry Morganti, Fabricator General. @The Last Guardsmen Ben Bach, Senator. @Ben Bach Cameron Grimstead, Senator. @Teturact Chris Green, Senator. @zcaust83 James Idle, Proconsul. @JamesIdle Jeffrey Kauffman, Consul. @ninefinger Matt Goodfellow, Senator. @Dark Trainer Nate Perez, Treasurer. @Blustorm Pete Harper, Senator. @Exile Spencer Fisher, Senator. @54th Grumblies Warwick Rockbourne, Chaplain. @WarwickRockbourne 2023 was a year, in a long line of years, we will file under “interesting times.” As we process this life in the 21st century, your Senate’s hope is that Ordo Fanaticus will be a positive influence in your hobby and game journey. For the good of the Order.
  8. Rumor is Ben is a fun and interesting guy. I'll show up to see if the hype is real!
  9. Scott, I'm not sure how collaborative you want to get; but Jonathan (jonnylectitio on discord) and Zack (eldrago_1 on discord) are working -- independently -- on this style of terrain. Jonathan is going the 3D route, while Zack is going MDF. The TO circle in the PNW has also been providing a lot of input to those building up terrain sets. I believe the only deviation has been our brothers over in the Hillsboro area (PPM) who are tailoring their terrain more towards some WTC/European style changes.
  10. I believe there is a group that has a discord, but I can't recall which! I know there's a regional channel with the Pecking Order; that's a good place to find some folks outside the Portland metro. https://discord.gg/qe9sXn7k
  11. What a great time to get into the hobby of scrapbooking. Or maybe book binding. With a stool to sit on? Like it pays for itself.
  12. Offering support and good vibes. My Thursday showings are still limited enough to be inconsistent and unplanned. Curse the existence of bills and schedules! At least it's fun and satisfying. Playing with my models with stand-up Thursday folks fun and satisfying. Nope!
  13. Work wants more work! They said tabletop does not count. Lame.
  14. I'm a no-show this Thursday (family in town), but will be back in the clubhouse on 4.21. I need more terminators.
  15. I saw interest in a potential gathering of club members in another thread. Is someone facilitating or merely pointing to a time and place for us here of cats to show?
  16. Traffic dependent, I'll be arriving before 4:30pm with 40k Dark Angels in hand.
  17. Oof! Two Monday's missed; good news is it's moving related and going well! Until next Thursday!
  18. I'm a no-show this Thursday -- moving prep! -- but will be back in the clubhouse next Thursday. Good luck!
  19. My poor Note5 doesn't like the web store or the survey. My absence in opinion and a ticket sale is because I'm a little too retro on the tech! We'll see if one of the youths in my life will help me later for a coke and candy bar or whatever the youths are into these days (skateboards? Taylor Swift albums? A mystery.) Fun all around!
