Finally decided to make this army, been in my head for a long while. Got the original idea from the random chapter creation tables in the Fantasy Flight Deathwatch RPG. The idea is that the chapter has a dysfunctional Catalepsean Node, which causes them to go to into deep sleep at random times (narcolepsy). The sleep is similar to stasis, so they effectively have a longer lifespan (though they often die while asleep due to outside influences). So, mid-battle, they might just go to sleep for 10-100 years. They tend to get mistaken for statues and are forgotten, hence the chapter name.

So, yeah, suggestions on extreme durability in 8e? Can't seem to get my marines to be durable in 8e. Defense for 8e is kinda focused on scoring faster, rather than actual defense, but I like defense. Suggestions on armies that play defense well.
