A clever (sneaky) ambush blunted the Soviet offensive power and blew up most of the Red Army tanks by turn 2. A lightning strike! Podpolkovnik barcid was lucky to meet a hero's end in this engagement. Dead heroes get medals. Live losers get a "train ticket." If Bolo falls out of favor with the Capitalists, he could make a name for himself as a Forward Detachment Commander in the Soviet Army. barca Posted June 20, 2017 Author Report Share Posted June 20, 2017 Battle #2: Podpolkovnik Mikhail Filippovich Bosshardt (nephew of the Army Cdr) lost all of his tanks, but his stealthy Scout platoon secured the objective while under intensive fire from the Yankee guns. The battlefield was a hellish scene of devastation. The smoke and fire hid the survivors from each other. Aerial reconnaissance could not tell friend from foe. NATO Helicopters and jets wreaked havoc across the battlefield. Masterfully employed. Our pilots could take lessons.
