I don't know any of the stores in Seattle, would need a yocal to scout it out.

Shoooooot, if i had room at my place to have like 4 tables i totally would be down to host. There is Mox in Seattle & Bellevue, I think they only have 4 tables. I dont know how hard it would be to reserve them.

MOX Bellevue has a whole tournament room that could be used.  Don't know about scheduling, though.  You might also check Heroic Knight games.  Frankly, I could probably host a 3 table get together at my house.  But you would have to bring the pizza and beer.

Depends on how many people we could get to show up. If the Bellingham guys and the Portland guys travel we could have a good sized group. Wouldn’t want to impose that on anyone to host. But if it is a small group, I gladly would bring beer and pizza.

Next step would be a dry-test for scheduling, right? Make up a date, ask a host location if they have capacity for.... 8? What's our estimate number? Then turn around and ask people in our communities would do such. Assume like 40-50% chance of follow through from respondents.

Could make those days work. 23rd is thanksgiving weekend so might be hard to get people, but we can ask around. I'll put up a poll in the PNW 9th Age Facebook group and see what people want. Also could do it here. Idk if there are poll options here

Are we thinking for a 1 day event? 2 days might be hard to swing, but a 1 day sounds doable. 100% can't do it on Thanksgiving weekend, 30th sounds good though

For sure a 1 day thing. Thinking 2-3 games, doesnt have to be super formal tournament style or anything like that. Just trying to get some people to come out and play games 🙂

I feel like we have good turnout for local GTs, should try to do more small events in between tournaments to grow interest. Also gives people chances to test new lists and such if they dont get many games in on a regular basis.

Hmmmm so turns out Thanksgiving is the weekend later than I thought. So the 30th is the weekend of Thanksgiving.

I have reached out to Mox's in Bellevue for reserving some tables for us. That seems like a pretty good halfway point for people. November 16th is looking like the best Saturday for people. So that is the tentative date, I am waiting to hear back from Mox's, I'll relay more information when I hear back from them. Goal is to have 4-6 tables for us to use, play 2 or 3 games, we can do random matchups or whatever people would like to do. We would use the latest ruleset/point update that just came out.

So Mox has another tournament going on that day in their tournament hall. We are more than welcome to use their wargaming room, they have 4 tables, so enough to accommodate 8 players. I’m still down to do it if people want to come down/up.

I’m interested, I imagine we could fill 8 slots pretty easily. With 3 rounds that’s pretty simple pairing.

you should start a thread for it. I’ll tag a bunch of folks to make sure they see it. You down to be the TO for it?

Sooooo my boss said I probably are gonna have to work that weekend 😞 im gonna see today if I can get out of it. I'll get back to you guys. If I do have the day off, I would be fine playing ringer/TOing if necessary. 

If it doesnt work, I for sure could do something in January after the holidays are all done.

I actually had a similar problem. I work at a small business and half the staff is going to Bellevue (a funny moment of coincidence) to operate a sports tournament on the 16th. I'll be at work until 1pm. Conor is not available due to a tickets to a LARP or something. What a nerd. Whether this bird flies or not, I'd be down to trying again in January.
