WestRider Posted July 6, 2018 Report Posted July 6, 2018 No, this isn't about the upcoming Epic-scaled game from Forge World. Last weekend was the Titan Owners' Club UK Walk, involving (as best I can tell) dozens of Titans and I don't even know how many Knights, maybe even over 100. Let me put it like this: one of the photos shows 7 Warlords. As much as anything, I'm extrapolating from that, because I can't really get a clear count of the whole lot from the pics. All at 40K scale. I think I read in one of the preparatory posts that the play area was like 24x36 feet. It just completely destroys my ability to comprehend scale. Check out some amazing pics of the event here. 1 1 Quote
InfestedKerrigan Posted July 6, 2018 Report Posted July 6, 2018 The first rule of Titan club is if it's not your turn, GTF off the field!! 3 Quote
Torg Posted July 6, 2018 Report Posted July 6, 2018 Ok - we have to make something happen like this. Ugh. 2 Quote

Guest Posted July 6, 2018 Report Posted July 6, 2018 Really bugs me that the "Titan Owner's Club" doesn't think non-FW titans qualify to be in their site. Even GW titans aren't allowed. As if we needed more elitism in 40k players. Quote

Well if you dropped $2000 on something like that, I can understand not wanting to have a cardboard box Titan across the battlefield 3 Quote
pretre Posted July 6, 2018 Report Posted July 6, 2018 It's literally a club for Titan Owners. I.e. people who bought titans from FW. Maybe join the 'Titan manufacturer's club' or something? 2 1 Quote

SPaceORK Posted July 9, 2018 Report Posted July 9, 2018 It's not even that elite if a club... I can have a warlord for $400 from china? Which is better quality than the fw one. 1 Quote

Which if you belong to one of the special password protected sites it comes in forge world bags with a "certificate". But yea I checked them out... It's really an elitist snobby group. 1 Quote
WestRider Posted July 10, 2018 Author Report Posted July 10, 2018 Frankly, I don't really care what they're like, as a group or as individuals. I just think the pics from their event were awesome. 2 Quote
