This month we role-play pirates in 2 different boardgames: "Black Fleet" and "Pirate's Cove". Deliver cargo, steal treasure, fight other pirates. The buccaneers knew the meaning of "cutthroat competition". Join us for 4 hours of High Seas Adventure in the Dungeon room at Guardian Games.
A fee of $5.00 per person is required to rent the room. 4-5 players

What are "barca's Immersion Games"?
Each month, we will find a quiet place to explore new games and "immerse" ourselves in a virtual world via an engaging game. You might join the crew of a pirate ship and act out a role like in "Pirates of the Caribbean". You could dive into a pulp fiction adventure like an "Indiana Jones" movie. You could be trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. You might be carving out an empire by conquest or building a nation.
Whether the game is new to you, or old and familiar, you will be challenged by the cooperation or the competition. You could meet new people, or you can bring your friends along to share the adventure.

We are planning on meeting on the third Saturday of each month at Guardian Games in Portland, OR. Most sessions will start at noon and end 3-4 hours later. Some longer games will require that we start earlier and end later.  We will try to rent the Dungeon room to have that quiet space. The rental fee is $5.00 per hour, so we will be expecting each player to pay a $5.00 so that we can collectively cover the room rental.
