Lyraeus
Looking at Warcry but the only models from Age of Sigmar that interest me are the Ossiarch Bonereapers. What other factions are there? Edit: I see that you can use the Ossiarch Bonereapers in Warcry... hmmmm. Now I need to check the rules out.
Ish
WarCry warbands basically boil down into three categories: the nine main Warbands created for the game, Warbands created from a limited pool of models from the other AoS armies, and a handful of “special event” Warbands meant for special scenarios and not for regular play. The “main nine” are all Chaos Undivided worshipers with various themes: Iron Golems, Untamed Beasts, Splintered Fang, Corvus Cabal, The Unmade, Cypher Lords, Spire Tyrants, Scions of Flame, and the Shadowstalkers The “AoS imports” all belong to one of the four Grand Alliances. For Order there are Stormcast Vanguard, Stormcast Warriors, Stormcast Sacrosancts (basically, Fantasy Space Marines); Daughters of Khaine (a.k.a., dark elves), Idoneth Deepkin (a.k.a, sea elves), Kharadron Overlords (a.k.a, steampunk dwarf sky-pirates), Fyreslayers (a.k.a, fire dwarves), Sylvaneth (a.k.a, tree people), Seraphon (a.k.a, lizardmen), and the Lumineth Realm-Lords (a.k.a, high elves). Representing the Death Allegiance you’ve got the Legions of Nagash (a.k.a, generic undead rabble), Nighthaunt (ghosts), Flesh-Eater Courts (ghouls noble questing knights) and the Ossiarch Bonereapers (elite undead). Representing the Destruction Allegiance you’ve got the Ironjawz (a.k.a, elite orcs), Bonesplitterz (a.k.a, savage orcs), Gloomspite Gitz (a.k.a, goblins), and Ogor Mawtribes (a.k.a, ogres) Representing Chaos beyond the basic nine, above, you get the generic Slaves to Darkness (a.k.a, Warriors of Chaos from WHFB), Beasts of Chaos (a.k.a, beastmen), Skaven, and then eight Warbands that are either a mortal or a dæmon group for each of the Four Gods (e.g, Maggotkin of Nurgle Daemons or Blades of Khorne Bloodbound). Ironjawz, obviously, are the best. 2
