If you have a propane grill, there are a variety of different smoker box devices that will let you turn it into a smoker.

Not quite as nice as having a dedicated smoker (and not nearly as nice as going Full Yooper and building a freestanding smokehouse [poot it next to yer sauna, yaah sure you betcha.])

Sadly, I don’t get to eat most of it. My husband and the kids are heading out on a four day camping trip with some other friends. Twenty pounds of homemade pastrami, eight pounds of salmon, a whole school of white fish... and I’m stuck at home.
