Chappy Posted May 12, 2014 Report Share Posted May 12, 2014 With 7th Edition around the corner, it is hard to say what will and won't be OP. But your list is nice and heavy. I wouldn't be disappointed stepping up to your table and seeing your list. One caveat though. This is OFCC. The beat stick Chapter Master is a tad heavy handed. I recommend losing artificer armor or going to a straight storm shield. Give your opponent a way to kill him without making it too easy. To me, him being eternal warrior with a 2+/3++ makes him just the other side of "not fun to fight." An opponent will have to dedicate a tremendous amount of resources to killing him off. Been too busy at work so this is my go to minimal painting list do I can make a display board. What do you pretre number wise too much? I played a variant with flyers instead of dev squad in cup last year and places 3rd from bottom. I minimized squads, cut flyers, and put in razors I value any feedback. magnusthetraitor Posted July 29, 2014 Report Share Posted July 29, 2014 The thing with ratings is that no matter what number that total strangers give you, it will not mesh with your perceptions of how you believe the list should rate based on your own experiences with the models that make up the list. I just expect anything I put out to get a 3, even when I maintain a .500 average at the best of times! Don't stress it too much.A list that you've played and are familiar with and is already mostly painted it far superior to any list that you think might be better or that you need a lot of work to get done. I can change load outs on almost everything, but just want to make it is not a 3 otherwise put team will have too many strong list. I want to make sure I made a 2. My perception of my list as others is based on my general ship which currently I'm not well practiced. So I might not have the best idea. The tau are there because of my fluff and I like the in your face style of farsight so it would seem white scar tactics would match farsight tactic fluff. If a team has 4 armies that are ranked as 3s and they are all great opponents, no one is going to care. If they have all 1s and they are all douches, then they ruin the event. Full disclosure, my team is probably going to be at about a 10 or even an 11 for total points just by dint of our lists.
