Murphy'sLawyer
Just out of curiosity do you know what the Swedish Comp is? Looking to get a handle of what one will look like.
MexicanNinja
Raindog, swedish comp hits fast cav hard. I got a 8.6 with my malekith/cauldron build. ML, the swedish comp system is used to get a comp score for armies from the 2.2k-2.6k point range. The lower the rating means that the list is generally on the tougher side. It's a 0-20 rating system. It also gives softer lists a VP advantage against the tougher lists before the game starts. For instance, if I showed up with a list rated with a 9 and you showed up with a list rated as a 12 you would receive 300 vp before the game began. It is also used as a tool for comp score requirements. If you wanted to hold a "fluff-list" event you could require all lists to be rated between 15-17 and so-on and so-on. Raindog
I could also drop a unit of Waywatchers for more Wild Riders, dump the EG and add back Hagbane bows.

Raindog
I bought a box of the new Eternal Guard. They are easy models to put together and rank together well. I have made three so far. I have some old kit bashed Eternal Guard, but they were designed for the old rules. Last book, had the Eternal Guard style allowing any combo of weapons two attacks in the front rank, so I modeled up the unit to have spears, spears and shields, sword and shield, and two swords. They don't have the same feel, so they do not mix and match well with the new models. I could do one unit of old and one of new models. I have also been making Spite models as spacers and odd count as models. If anybody has a few extra from the new Treeman models, let me know. They are fun to make.
Raindog
Seven EG are modeled up. 12 old EG bashed are ranked up. I still need cloaks and shields for some of the older EG. I even started on a movement tray. I am making the models slowly, a few at a time, but it is fun to tinker.

Raindog
All ten of the EG are assembled and based. What a nice unit to put together. I need to go pick up another box. If anybody wants to trade the spears or shields on the box for the axes let me know. I want EG, not Rangers. I put together three more Glade Guard and have been spraying when the weather allows. I had a nice game with NTK, but could not shoot my way out of a wet paper bag……... I have also been forgetting the entire time to use the LIfe Bloom attribute from Shield of Thorns……….du'oh
