9/25: Ordo Fanaticus Game Day @ W.O.W. Saturday 11am - 4pm

THE PLACE

Location: 717 SE Main St. Portland OR 97214 (map) - Around the corner from Kokiyo Teriyaki and up the stairs. Cost to play games is $0 for Ordo members, Warlords, and Emperors. In other words, free!

If you're looking to game we will be here. Opting to lay low? Stay home and stay safe, we'll catch you next time.

THE MISSION

Games we play: All, with a focus on Warhammer 40k, Bloodbowl, Necromunda, War Cry, board games and more.

While it is possible to find a pickup game at Game Night, it is much better to pre-arrange a game before coming down. New players are always welcome, feel free to stop by and check it out.

BUT WHAT ABOUT COVID-19?

Due to the current Multnomah county mask mandate, all attendees must wear masks.  Players are encouraged to spread out their games and avoid congestion. Do not attend game night if you experience any of the symptoms found here. 

GAME NIGHT EXPECTATIONS

If the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s taught us we don’t need more stress in our lives. As a result, Ordo is expecting an even greater level of friendliness and fellowship at Game Night than our normal high expectations. Please be aware that as always, the Czar has the ability to ask a player to leave if the Czar feels it necessary. Games are meant to be fun, so let’s have fun.

Do you think you will do Saturday/Sunday game day(s) in October?

I’m hoping we can set it to either Saturday or Sunday permanently and make it a more regular thing. But we need more folks willing to host regularly. Blustorm drives down from Vancouver every time he hosts.

I drive down every time from Vancouver too 🙂 and I might be able to make it this Saturday for some oathmark if the wife doesn't make plans without ne knowing

I will do at least one Saturday for sure. Right now I'm thinking definitely the 16th and possibly the 30th or 31st. I know there will be Halloween festivities on either of those days, but I would start the game day around 10/10:30am, so that the afternoon/evening is available for ghoulish delights.

Well we’re at 1k pts currently so so for you it’ll be a real quick conversion - just pick your three favorite infantry and we have ourselves a game!

lol so bring 1000 points of infantry right? what else do I need to do to prepare?

Heh, since it’s your first crusade game just bring a 1000pts list of any kind really, doesn’t have to be all infantry. The rest of the crusade stuff happens after each battle so we can go over that at the table.

Probably have time to do a few games if you’re up for it. Then your units could earn enough to level up.

Hi all, 

i won’t be able to make it after all. I had prior commitments that I had forgotten about. I’m free later in the day to play at mox or something.

Doors should be open around 10:30am. I'm bringing my Oathmark stuff, but if I don't have an opponent, I'll work on sorting thru the tubs in the terrain room. There's still lots of sorting to be done. 🙂
