scottshoemaker
+Crossed Paths+ Basic Scenario As your gang establishes their basecamp, teams are sent out to explore the surrounding area. It's inevitable that they'll run into rivals attempting to stake their claim first... BATTLEFIELD Set up a 2x2' Sector Mechanicus play area. Dense Terrain with lots of cover is recommended. 1-2 vertical levels in addition to the ground are recommended. CREWS Each player will divide their gang in two halves, with each half composed of an equal (or as equal as possible) number of fighters. Randomly determine which half is participating in the scenario. The other half is not used. TACTICS CARDS Tactics cards are not used in this scenario. DEPLOYMENT Each player should roll a d6 to determine choice of board edge. The other player will deploy from the opposite edge. The player that won the roll to choose board edge sets up all their participating fighters within 4in of their board edge on any level. The other player then sets up all their participating fighters within 4in of their board edge on any level. Infiltration is not used for this scenario. OBJECTIVE The objective for this scenario is to drive off the opposing gang while minimizing your losses. Each gang scores 1 VP for each enemy fighter taken Out of Action or flees the battlefield. ENDING THE BATTLE The scenario lasts 4 rounds. VICTORY The gang with the most VPs at the end of the battle is the victor. If both gangs have the same number of VPs, it ends in a Draw. There a no Victors in a Draw result. REWARDS Each fighter that took part in the scenario earns 1XP. Any fighter taken Out of Action will roll on the lasting injury table but will adjust any roll of 61-65 Critical Injury & 66 Memorable Death to that of 31-45 Grievous Injury - Into Recovery. The victorious player may assign a bonus 1XP to any fighter that took place in the scenario. The victorious gang earns 1 Reputation. (Arbitrators Note: The intent of this scenario is to create a introductory game that won't punish new or rusty players. Thus no ganger death this early in the campaign That would just suck)
Josiah
This mission looks dope. Thanks for putting it together, Scotty. Sadly, I have a baby class to attend this evening, but I hope everyone has a great time playing lots of Necromunda.
