dalmer Posted January 18, 2022 Author Report Posted January 18, 2022 Thank you so much for helping. I did the imgur thing but don't know what code to paste. and then i got a pic that was like one apple tall ha ha thank you so much 1 Quote
Justjokin Posted January 18, 2022 Report Posted January 18, 2022 Looks great! Keep them coming! Just take the imgr url and paste it without any extra steps. Ordo does the rest. beyond that, I took your URL, went to it directly. http://i.imgur.com/gHS5p5Z.jpg Saw the very nice image then used the windows snipping tool. Win+Shift+S is a common shortcut key for taking a screen shot. Ctrl+V to paste right here in the Ordo post. 1 Quote
Justjokin Posted January 18, 2022 Report Posted January 18, 2022 Oh shoot, you said 'one apple tall'. There may not be help that I can offer at all... 🙂 Not that I have any issues except me being Mac stoopid. I'll migrate an On Prem AD to Azure no problem, but I'm never really sure what to do with a mouse that I can't right click with. Quote
Justjokin Posted January 18, 2022 Report Posted January 18, 2022 It's a little blurry in the image, but I'm digging the sloshing liquid in the flask, and the white dot in the lens: 1 1 Quote
dalmer Posted January 19, 2022 Author Report Posted January 19, 2022 My random selector (i.e. dice) has selected a GSC Clamavus as the next model to paint. 3 Quote
dalmer Posted January 24, 2022 Author Report Posted January 24, 2022 GSC Clamavus. Sorry about super zoom. 1 Quote
Raindog Posted January 24, 2022 Report Posted January 24, 2022 Dude, That is sweet! My only recommendations to improve your awesome work is a bit of washing and black lining! 1 Quote
dalmer Posted January 24, 2022 Author Report Posted January 24, 2022 Yeah, I've been doing the washes/etc and I think that as soon as I get some glasses I can get back to old detailing ha ha. My layer applications after the wash are kind of a "point the brush at where I think it's going" and it just covers everything. Ack. I used to be able to do some better edge highlighting too. Old pics below. For the clamavus, I was very disappointed at the leg guards just getting blobbed. 1 Quote
dalmer Posted January 31, 2022 Author Report Posted January 31, 2022 Squad of ten necron warriors done. Couldn't show all so zoomed in for a few... 2 1 Quote
dalmer Posted February 1, 2022 Author Report Posted February 1, 2022 Tried to take Raindog's advice and stumble my way through black lining the Clamavus: 6 2 Quote
dalmer Posted February 1, 2022 Author Report Posted February 1, 2022 And tried some washing and hazard striping the dominus: Tried to make some of the metal shinier and make his flesh hand all mechanicu-nasty 5 1 Quote
dalmer Posted April 10, 2022 Author Report Posted April 10, 2022 Freeblade so I didn't put any house markings. Freehand isn't to the level of some folks here, but I'm putting forth the effort! 4 1 Quote
dalmer Posted April 13, 2022 Author Report Posted April 13, 2022 my random roll generator gave me a squad of Tau Fire Warriors as the next paint project... (I have a d20 list so I don't get bored painting the same thing. It kills army progress but I'm thinking I'll never get to playing so there's that ha ha) 1 Quote
dalmer Posted May 22, 2022 Author Report Posted May 22, 2022 Tau Fire Warriors. I am giving the entire army a camo pattern but with orange and white sept markings (if that's still a thing) 5 1 Quote
