I like the new models...I'm a corvus guy all the way, but a full game of marines vs marines? Eh....I was so hoping it was going to be a smaller scale to include those glorious titans.

I totally missed this box leak!  Wow...that sure does seem like it is legit now.
A plastic Spartan???OMG...that means a Plastic Typhon maybe too?
Interestingly enough...the spartan and sicaran are listed on the FW site as "Last Chance to Buy"

there's a Horus Heresy Open Day on May 7, 2022 so methinks that boxed set might be the new release.  That'd be awesome.

I think it will release after that open day...but we will get to see lots of models that weekend.

Also, didn't I read somewhere that every Thursday they would be doing model reveals for HH in the coming month?

Titans are included. The expansion sets start around $800.

I love me some beakies...but I guess the hard part here is 'is it worth it to own a beaky army just for this game?'. Because honestly, you most likely won't be using these guys for 40k. Then again, I'm not familiar with how popular HH is.

(some folks are speculating that at least you can use all your "firstborn" models for HH, since Primaris Marines are the new thing)

Yeah, that is kind of my point. I have a large space wolf army, but will I really be using them for 40K now? I suppose from GW's point of view, they don't want you to have models that can play both games, they want you to buy more models. Now if they start pumping out the Rogue Trader style dreads for HH...that might sucker me in. 🙂

well 30 marines and 10 termies are $300. Toss in the dread and tank, and that is easily another $180. And then two characters for $70.

My money is on a $290 price, going for a lot of value to begin with. Like they did with Indomitus for 40K and the recent AoS 3rd edition one also.

its basically an army box, you get all that stuff that makes one decent sized army to start. too bad I still can't see the joy of playing marines vs marine the whole time.

the Necromunda Ash Wastes box set is $ 290 or so, I think.  The new Chaos Knights boxed set (I think 3 models) is $ 300.

Put me down for this boxed set going for $ 350+ with the "we're not gonna release the Spartan separately for a long time" and "it's a poseable Contemptor" as points over almost everything else being recasts.

If it's anywhere near $ 300 that'd be great.  Which feels weird to type
