sankaku_jime Posted December 17, 2022 Report Share Posted December 17, 2022 Hello to everyone, I am new to the forums and I haven't been by the club house yet but planning to swing by sometime soonish.Ā I'm an old school fantasy player who is wondering if people around here are playing 8th or 6th edition, I haven't played 6th in a very long time but I have played quite a bit of 8th. I have painted armies of Night Goblins (featuring some Orcs) and Empire along with a decent amount of terrain, mostly mountainous stuff as my little section of the 'Old World' is in the Grey Mountains. There isn't a ton of 6th/8th chat on the forums, it's mostly 9th Age, but I know there are some people who play both over at Mindtaker. We do have a pretty good local community for 9th Age and we have a couple of events for it in the area each year (I'm running a 30 person tournament in March, there was an 18 person event up in Bellingham in November that some of us traveled to). If you want to check it out, one of us would be happy to give you an intro game. BUT, if you're passionate about 6th/8th Ed, there are certainly players to be found and I'm sure you would be able to find some games without too much trouble. If you use WhatsApp, we have a group of us that chat and use it to schedule games, probably where we are most active. There is also a West Coast 9th Age Discord, and a NW 9th Age FB group.
