Frowbakk Posted July 30, 2014 Author Report Posted July 30, 2014 I'll probably just drop one 3 MANz unit and swap the Killsaw for the Lucky Stikk for Friday's 1850. Quote
pretre Posted July 30, 2014 Report Posted July 30, 2014 The only problem is that what is awesome for the Open may be a bit tough for the Team Event. 1 Quote
fluger Posted July 31, 2014 Report Posted July 31, 2014 Having finally road-tested Mega Nobz. I gotta say they are just the bee's knees. I don't think this would be too much for OFCC team event. Any army that has decent anti-tank and some s8+ Ap2 shooting is going to shoot out the vehicles and then light up the MANz. Slow and purposeful REALLY slows these guys down if they have to hoof it. So, while I think this list is definitely competitive and interesting, I don't think it's out of bounds for OFCC. Quote
Frowbakk Posted July 31, 2014 Author Report Posted July 31, 2014 Yep. Never being able to Sweeping Advance means that all close combat survivors can fall back (and still shoot at you as they go), have a chance to rally and come back to attack on their own terms. Consider a Deathwing list: More shooting, inherent Invulnerable Saves, and often seen at OFCC. Quote
VonVilkee Posted July 31, 2014 Report Posted July 31, 2014 Lower wound count and no fast cheap transport on the death wing. Not saying you are wrong but they are different. 1 Quote
AbusePuppy Posted August 1, 2014 Report Posted August 1, 2014 Yeah, Meganobz aren't really comparable to regular Terminators. They have more attacks, more wounds, and better access to transports. 1 Quote
