September 27 Historical Games Day, Portland

So I'm organizing a historical tabletop miniatures wargames day this weekend, open to anyone interested. We’ll start at 12pm on Saturday, September 27 at Guardian Games in Portland. We’re scheduled to run until 6pm.

 

We will have four 6’ x 4’ tables available: two in the bar, and two in the general gaming area.

 

Depending on how busy Guardian is, we may be able to add more tables and/or play past 6pm. We’ll see.

 

So far, people have offered to run Blitzkrieg Commander II, SAGA, Five Men In Normandy, and Piquet American Revolution. If you are planning to run a game, or want to run a game, please e-mail me at jesselowe (at) gmail.com with info on when you want to start the game and if you want to be in the bar or in the general gaming area. (If you don’t get back to me, don’t worry about it. We’ll make it work.)

Ill be stuck at home with the kids this weekend otherwise I would love to head over and see some historical minis played.

Gah! I just finished painting my Vikings, but I am going to the Project Pabst concert that day. Next time i am on board for sure. I really only play historical games and can never find opponents. I want this to become a regular event.
