AgentP
This week we should start seeing hints, then pre-orders, for the second end times books. Rumor on the street is that this book contains Warriors, Daemons, Beastmen, and Cult of Slaanesh Dark Elves. I cannot wait. CANNOT WAIT! End times is really the best gaming product I've bought in a long time. Fluff and art is exceptional, and it just does such a good job of pulling in the reader and making you love WHFB again.
rudra34
I'm stoked for this one too! Looks like there will be plenty of things thrown Nurgle's way, and I am excited to check out the new models.
Munkie
Cult of Slaanesh is coming back?! That was the coolest alternative WFB list ever!
ClassicFlava
I may have to pick this one up. Seeing as i have both WoC and Beastmen.
Threejacks
Been reading book one and I don't read much at all..but wow! its a great story! I have also read that there will be more "Allies of the End Times" which im very pumped about:) This is the kinda of backround stuff that gets me into a game system...something that for me has seemed a bit fragmented in the 40k universe. thatdave
Me too. Only it's daemons and dark elves for me. I also hope that GW clarifies whether or not this is the new face of Warhammer. I suspect it is leaning that way, but it would be nice to get the word from the top plain and clear. I'm not counting on it though. Excited nonetheless. Iraf
I'm pretty excited too. I love what they did with the Undead. Can't wait to see what's in store for the 4 gods.
MexicanNinja
Well, one thing's for certain with the cult of slaanesh....no warlocks!

WestRider
I haven't even played Fantasy in almost a decade and I'm excited for this. I got a chance to read through the fluff part of volume one, and it was awesome. Go Nagash!

I was told that retailers were told by their reps that end times is not just a campaign book. I think this will probably be as official as we will ever get from GW, unfortunately. ClassicFlava
yeah i get the feeling this is more than campaign book. Seems like most if not all of the armies will be covered in the end times books
AgentP
I don't think it's a campaign book. Way to much time and money have been invested in these by GW to make them campaign books
Drak
the books themselves state they aren't just campaign books. but additional rules to be used at player discretion in ANY game of WHFB.
McNathanson
Cult of Slaanesh would be a welcome return, I loved Lion of Flanders' take on that list. He paints a wicked boobie.
Murphy'sLawyer
These books are not campaigns as almost everyone here stated but since these are new books that lie outside the army books till the community gets a feel for it ask your opponent first. AgentP
Well, I think people need to start getting comfortable with lore of undeath and combined undead legion armies, they're here to stay. And in a couple weeks I have a strong suspicion I will be saying that people need to get comfortable with some "lore of daemon" that allows any wizard to summon daemons, and combined WC+daemons+beasts lists. I'd bet that's where this is all headed.

Drak
I also don't see a 9th edition being released prior to the release of all 3 sets of end times. but I'm not as rumor savy as others.

I really hope that beasts will be in the mix. I mean, if they are planning on some silly HE+DE combo I wouldn't see why not.
