pretre
So is there anything that says jump infantry can't ride in drop pods? Rhinos have a specific exclusion, but other vehicles don't. Transports say infantry only (80) but jump infantry is a model with two types right? Ex: can Celestine ride in a drop pod?
Guest
Drop pods are always dedicated, so you'd only be allowed jp ICs. I've otherwise considered it. Pretty sure land raiders can hold jp in this edition.
Psilence
P. 80. Second paragraph under transport capacity. Short answer , no. No jump/jet embarkation unless specifically stated.

Guest
drop pods aren't dedicated for space wolves. Interesting. What slot do they occupy?
Psilence
Not sure for troops (thinking they're still able to dedicate) but pods can also be taken in fast slots for wolves.
Psilence
And np pretre. Made me think of chimeras loaded up with terminators. Fun times. :)

That certainly opens some options. Centurions in pods, would certainly be amusing.
pretre
Yep. Been talking about it for a while now. :)
busbina
DE have Raiders in fast attack now too. You can put a full squad of fire dragons in them. Blood angels will probably have pods in fast attack too.
pretre
Heck, DE have WWP now. Who needs a transport? :)
VonVilkee
It is a thing of seventh. Orks have trukks in fast attack.
Guest
Blood angels will probably have pods in fast attack too. I wonder. If anything, BA with an alternate dreadnought deployment option would be very fitting (like some sort of DC dread drop pod squadron). Or auto-gate access for the libby dread, not unlike the auto-terrify for the hemlock.
