Guest
http://www.playstation.com/en-us/games/planetside-2-ps4/ Says it will be out at the end of the month. Looking forward to it.
Guest
For the record, this one is finally out on the PS4.
InfestedKerrigan
I thought Sony stopped making the Systems backwards compatible? It pisses me off that I can play my PS1 games on my PS2 and 3, but can't play my PS2 games on my PS3. I thought the PS4 dropped that altogether, wanting you to repurchase the games via PSN. pretre
Pretty sure ps2 works on 3 now.
dkieft
Pretty sure this thread is not about backwards compatibility... though I wish I could go PS2-3 and PS3-4 and heaven forbid PS2-4

Are you mocking the thread, or did no one actually follow the link? I'm talking about Planetside 2 (refered to as PS2) on the Playstation 4 (refered to as PS4). Planetside 2 was finally made compatible with the Playstation 4.
InfestedKerrigan
Pretty sure ps2 works on 3 now. Not the case with the one in my living room. Perhaps newer models? Planetside 2 was finally made compatible with the Playstation 4. Number B. If you re-read my post, I am quite serious about being quite pissed about the lack of backwards compatibility. Sorry for the inconvenience.
generalripphook
Pax no one is mocking you, but using the same acronym to mean two different things is highly confusing.
dkieft
I was confused at first too. But Clicking the link I found what Pax actually meant. Man I wish they kept backwards compatibility though... Unfortunately I am not familiar with Planetside, or Planetside 2, nor do I own a PS4... so I can't say much about that stuff.
InfestedKerrigan
So is PS4 going to be on the PS6 since PS2 is on the PS4? Was PS1 on the PS3?
Guest
Pax no one is mocking you, but using the same acronym to mean two different things is highly confusing. I was pretty sure you all were confused. Still, I try to take things at face value and if you were trying to mock me, then by not understanding, I am hindering your ability to mock - which is kinda rude, I suppose. Hence the question. Guest
Was PS1 on the PS3? I'm not sure, though I don't think it was PS1 when there was only the single game. I think it was unique to the PC at that time.

ROGRE
Number B. This thread is confusing in many ways.
Brick Bungalow
PS1 games play on anything but a 4. PS2 games only played on the first four runs of PS3-- there were four usb ports on these models. Ok, back to the actual subject...
