InfestedKerrigan
Just think of the shiny models you're getting though! I thought you ordered the Sisters. He's stuck with that plastic stuff. Yuck.

pretre
And apparently I never got it because I don't have an account. Which is weird because I still get e-mails to that particular address from GW. Aaaaanyways. I just spent $71.43 for 5 models. :)
Dark Trainer
You misunderstand, king's law has no bearing in the US. Meaning if it truly is a United States Sweepstakes, then it is illegal and the US portion of GW can be sued (or forced to give every entrant a prize). Just saying, I did promos for a living for 5 years...I don't mind if they're ignoring it, just a heads up is all.

Psilence
Just a heads up, looking at the GW site and they list it as $80. Not sure if it's a pounds/$ conversion thing or what. They prob want to milk it a little harder. Gimme yo money! ???? It's in their side scrolling ads at the top.

I'll be pissed if it's 80 and the rules are wrong.
Psilence
Yeah, could be. My tech savy'ness is like a 4... :p
Psilence
Must be, put in US and it pops up $65. Crisis averted :) Carry on :)

Psilence
Lol, sorry. I was gonna spend 80 bucks like a tard, so, win for proper surfing :) It's like an after school special.
InfestedKerrigan
Can you buy multiple Wonka Bars, or are you limited to a single order?
pretre
Rules in the first post say it is based on order, not customer.
WestRider
Which is why I split my order into two, since there was enough Direct Only stuff that I wanted to make two entries :)
InfestedKerrigan
That's what I thought since I wasn't reading the ubiquitous "Limit 1 entry per customer."
pretre
No gold ticket for me. good luck to the rest of you!
Brother Glacius
Tempted...but give the evil empire $65 for a remote chance to get a gold ticket?? not really feeling it.
pretre
Considering the amount of enjoyment I've gotten out of GW, I don't mind throwing them a bone every once in a while. :)
ChaosGerbil
Yeah GW staying in business is a good thing. The models have never been more expensive (which you can say every year, even factoring in inflation) but... the quality has gone up. Models are filling space in interesting ways like never before, lots of tendrils, magic effects, etc. Stuff flying off the big centerpiece models is cool. I remember the days when over 90% of the minis were in static poses, just standing around.Let's face it, scattershot boycotts will never force GW to lower prices, fix rules, bring back specialist games, care about customers, or anything else. I need to restock paints, which is one thing you don't save any money on buying through ebay, etc. If I throw in some Beastmen Gors and bases just for fun, I'm at over $65.
WestRider
My two orders came in. No golden ticket :( They did both have an envelope, tho, so it's definitely per order, not customer, since I made both orders the same day.
von hammer
One of my 4 came in. No winner.
