dkieft
Yes, you heard me... Pigotaur... but wait! Undead Pigotaur! So yes, Minotaur, Pig and Undead... these are the attributes of the model I want to buy or build. My initial searches for a straight up Pigotaur have not given me much, so if you know of any that's great, or good bits that would make a good one, great too. Help me Ordo wan Kenobi! You are my only hope!

dkieft
Wrath of Kings has some walking pig-type models. Good call Swan. Those Teknes Workers would be just about perfect if they were not armoured.

You are my only hope! Hordes has those Pig mercanary models. As for my literal mind, "Pig o taur" sounds really wrong. The entire concept for minotaur is that the creature is King Mino's Son from a Cow mother ("Taur" should be greek for bull, being a male cow). Should get a better name for it...I know, I'm too literal. On a side note, One-Piece, the anime, had a set of characters done like this, including a Zebra-taur and a Koala-taur. That show is pretty random.
Guest Mr. Bigglesworth
Could call it necro min o gour since pig is gourouni.
Guest
Not sure if you can stand working with pewter conversions, but these guys from privateer would look the part after a fair amount of converting. http://privateerpress.com/hordes/gallery/minions/warbeasts/gun-boar http://privateerpress.com/hordes/gallery/minions/warbeasts/road-hog http://privateerpress.com/hordes/gallery/minions/warbeasts/war-hog Privateer does have a bits store on their site. http://store.privateerpress.com/minionswarbeasts.aspx
ChaosGerbil
If you want to go the cheap route, get a cheapo plastic farm animal pig, cut off the head and neck, and stick it on a plastic GW Ogre. Add horns. The ogres are fatter than most minotaur models. You'll need green stuff.
Guest
Does seem like you'd lose most of the pig if you make it a skeleton. Perhaps a mummy or zombie "necrominogour"
ChaosGerbil
Plastic is better for undead conversions since you can add gaping wounds easily with a razor blade. Exposed bone can be added by cutting a hole then using green stuff. A lot of it comes down to the paint job, using colors like grey, green, yellow, white, and bone. I like extra gore, tamiya clear red or GW technical blood. I like to put the "theater blood" on places like mouths and hands.
dkieft
Thanks for the responses guys (I had not looked for a while). @pax: I am not actually calling it a pig-o-taur, I just used that to describe it because I knew people would know what I meant. As it happens, it'll just be a converted model for game play, I am not really naming it.The Hordes stuff has too much crap (armor, etc) on it for what I am looking for. The Warhog is close... but I'd prefer less metal arms and stuff.@ChaosGerbil, I am not going too undead, just mostly going with a stiching and such look, you know, more flesh construct than Skeleton/Zombie. So, my current plan is to use Killjoy (see below) and basically make him a pig mask. I am not sure yet if it will be an actual mask, or if I'll model it as his head. I had actually started on a pig mask that was working out decently, but when Killjoy arrived in the mail I discovered my mask is too large so I'll have to work out another. PourSpelur
Not sure what game, era or genera you're building this for but...if he's wearing a pig mask a filthy apron and wicked cleaver are mandatory! Good luck and post pics;)

Good luck and post pics;) Pretty much, yes. Actually I had not thought specifically "Apron" but now, as you say, it is a must. It is for Malifaux (so Steam-Arcana-Victorian-stuff) and it is going to be Killjoy... just that he will be summoned by pigs dying (well, mostly).
