pretre
It's OFCC, crazy is the right kind of crazy.
WestRider
Yeah, I'd never run something like that in an actual competitive event, but I wanted something that kind of captured the feel of a Norse Thane grabbing all his best buds, with all their best gear, and hopping in a longboat to go Viking. OFCC is the perfect time to rock that kind of stuff, and it gives me a chance to put together a really cool looking Unit, with no duplicated Wargear choices.
pretre
Speaking of longboats and vikings. If I was doing OFCC team, I would run my all TWC + Logan list. Awwwoooooooo!
Guest
http://www.ordofanaticus.com/index.php?/topic/24077-ironwolves-for-ofcc/?view=getnewpost Weird list, but I like west's explanation of the theme. I'm very curious if that EA ends up being worth the investment.
fluger
Almost assuredly it won't.
pretre
Yep, but for OFCC, I think it's a great list.

I love how Viking got verb'd. Well played;)
WestRider
Viking was actually used as part of a verb phrase, more or less as I have it there. It meant to go voyaging, and then later became more specifically associated with raiding. "Vikings" as a noun means, roughly, "travelers" or "raiders".
pretre
I started to explain all that and thought better of it. :)
WestRider
It's one of those random facts that I think are totally cool, and like to share pretty much every chance I get :)
