AV11 without open topped and BS4 sounds like it has potential. I'm not saying they are Wave Serpents or anything, but that's useable. However 2 shot mobile snipers isn't bad. If the cover was +2 and not just obscure these guys would be awesome. Otherwise not a bad choice. Man is this a gun line army or what. They are WS4, they have 3 attacks base. On the charge they are I6 with 4 S8 attacks. Every 6 to hit counts as two hits as well. That's a pretty hard-hitting unit for 45 pts. fluger Posted March 23, 2015 Report Share Posted March 23, 2015 A unit of 6 is only 270 points and kicks out 24 S8 attacks at I6. They should put 5 HPs of damage onto a Knight (every 6 is 2 hits). That is 2 additional hits. Yea I definitely like these guys as putting the pressure on early. 3 dudes should wreck most things, so I would take them in groups of 4. 180 points for a speedy assualt choice. 16 on charge, that is 12 hits against ws 7 or less. KAPcom Posted March 24, 2015 Report Share Posted March 24, 2015 Those troops are looking pretty solid. 150+change for 10 man squad w/ 3 rapid fire haywire and some str4 ap4 rapid fire super bolters looks great, with some decent survivablilty.
