AgentP
It works out fine. Last time we had so much food it was ridiculous. Joel brought a ton of pulled pork. We had Japanese curry. We had pizza. We even had a margarita bar. Absolutely no one left hungry
andy
Cool, if it's not a problem, no problem. I better up my potluck game.
AgentP
NOTE: If people are still painting their OFCC armies, and want to play them but they are not yet fully painted, I'll waive the painting requirement. This applies to OFCC armies only.

Guest
Should I push to get that legion+daemons army(Thousand sons and tzeentch daemons) finished, or stick with my tried and true Marines?

I'd say the Tzeentch army, but I'm not the one who has to work on it.
Threejacks
We should also list what we are bringing for potluck when it gets closer. So we can avoid 12 boxes of cookies. Count me in For a case of Diet Sodas again! AND...another pack of cookies:)

Guest
I'd say the Tzeentch army, but I'm not the one who has to work on it. The distinction is that I'll doubtfully have played very many games with that tzeentch army when the anhililation event comes around, so I may be shaky i rules knowledge. That said, army is very random, so this might not really show much...
andy
Well, as the (hypocritical) owner of 'yet another damned space marine army' I heartily endorse something different.

pretre
Question: Is there any reason for the drop mechanic on cards? If you can customize anyways, you can just drop out the ones that have a chance of being unable to complete.
Guest Mr. Bigglesworth
I see risk of bringing less obscure ones like damage building so deck could be smaller by discard. I do like the idea and don't think the risk out weighs the potential.

Threejacks
Im going to have to drop from this as I am now working my Orks for OFCC and its a really soft list for the team event,I don't see it being a challenge to even the most mild tourney builds. I could bring a Stompa list but that would mean I need to paint another 25 or so models that I would not be using on the team list and im in full build paint mode for the team list now. My 40k focus for the next few months needs to be on team practices and painting/building so im happy to step aside and let someone have my spot in this:)
andy
Holy crap, are we expected to bring competitive lists? I'm planning on getting trucked every game. Is this not okay?

Guest Mr. Bigglesworth
Lists shouldn't be min max right? I plan to play what is painted and hope to paint what I want to play
pretre
I always torture myself over lists which may amount to min maxing.
pretre
So, No Ranged D, that means no Wraithguard/Scytheguard, D Artillery, Wraithknights, the D Fighter, etc.
deadwing34
Sportsmanship This is an Ordo event. This is a fun, simple, no-stress event designed around Maelstrom missions. Leave your competitive side at home for a day and approach this as having fun for a few hours. Wait he did say this...so no 5 Imperial Knight lists right...haha! Do lists need to be approved before the event?
