The Colleville exit, only a path, was protected by three pockets of resistance. WN 60 had two 7.5-mm guns, a bunker with a Renault tank turret, four 5-cm grenade launcher and a 2-cm Flak. WN 61 was equipped with a 88-mm cannon and a 5.5-mm gun and Renault tank turret bunkers and 5-cm mortars.

WN 61
Centrally located on the famous Omaha beach landing of resistance was responsible, together with the further west WN 62 for the high losses of landing here American troops. Equipped was the resistance nest with a 88mm Pak guns, a 5cm KwK and two MG ring stands.
