JMGraham
Western's a good school, but it depends entirely on what you want to study and what you want to do after you graduate. And whether or not you want to stay in B'ham. If you ever want to chat college stuff, let me know.
VonVilkee
If you ever want to chat pissing your parents off and skipping the whole college thing you can talk to me... I wouldn't recommend it to most tho :)
smashthedean
If you ever want to chat riding financial aid until you've taken as many elective classes as you can, then cutting class a lot and flunking out of GREs because you don't care about getting a degree, you can talk to me. PumpkinHead
Washington State has the DMB boys. UW is in Seattle, so close enough to some cool people. You would have to track down BeaverBeliever, but he went to Oregon State, and could probably point you in the right direction for the gaming club down there. OR just skip college, go into the trades, make money while you learn your craft and get paid! Journeymen linemen can go where ever they want and find work.
generalripphook
At the moment I am really looking into University of Montana in Missoula and Truman state in Missouri. Thanks for all the words of wisdom!

If you want, my best friend is studying computational theoretical physics, he got his undergrad at UW and is now working toward his doctorate at Stanford, if you want his contact info he can probably give you some good advice of classes/possible undergrad degrees he feels are more valuable in that type of field. PumpkinHead
Beware non euclidean geometry and abstract algebra. How did you pick those two schools for your undergrad?

generalripphook
Well Truman was kind of an idle want to pick a smaller school in the Midwest, and it has a nice math program. As for Missoula, I had an aunt really love the school, also It was recommended to me from family members who are math professors in California. Oh also the big data certification.
