Koyote
It looks like even Dave Taylor has been swept up in Mad Max diecast car craze. He has sculpted a weapons and armor kit for Matchbox cars. This kit can be purchased from Brigade Games.
Sherbert
Torg- Im sorry we didnt get to play at Ofcc, I got very drunk... and sleepy. I think I was looking more forward to trying out warlands than playing fantasy, oh well. Here are the next batch. I did get to played Warlands for the first time last night. The game is pretty much everything I wanted out of a car game. There are a couple of little things that we house ruled but over all im very happy with it. I need to figure out bikes and make some buggies.

Torg
Hey - no worries dude - I went looking for you…but was told the tale of woe … lol. I put together my cars - and will try to get a game here soon. I would be interested in hearing about your house rules :) -d
Sherbert
here are the finished cars Scarydog- You should, its cheap and fast, very rewarding. Torg- so far the only house rule is when a car becomes a wreck. The normal rule is that you roll a scatter die and move the vehicle 2d6 in that direction. We thought that was silly so we changed it to a d3 roll to see if you go 45 degrees to the left, center, or 45 degrees to the right, then move forward. That way the wreck is represented by a more logical crash instead of shooting off into a random direction.

Sherbert
my trip to goodwill was a win and a lose. I found plenty of muscle cars, which is great since I didnt have many. However, I was not able to find any good wheels for my war rig. the next 4 cars. The guitar one im going to paint up for a friend who is leaving in a couple of weeks for china. It was his favorite car when he was a kid so I thought I would make it shiny and chrome. should have these painted up soon and then I can dive into those new cars.

But I am wondering about doing a league or a death/race sort of circuit set up at some point in the future. Maybe something cool for OFCC 2016…friday event or something? lol
nathonicus
Can anyone confirm that 1/72nd figs would be appropriately sized? It seems to be the consensus on the internet. I am looking forward to converting a crew.
Sherbert
Torg- its hard to say. We have been learning which slows the games down a lot. They can also are quicker when using scenarios. I would say around 2 hours a game when using 200pts. Nathan- 1/72 is the right scale, or 20mm. I finished painting the next batch of cars. Unfortunately the new can of clear coat came out a little shiny. getting started on the next batch of cars tonight.
