Sherbert
forgot to post wip of these before I painted them. I bought some caesar 1/72 models for crew. Unfortunately they are a little finicky so it might be a little while before they are converted and painted.

ChaosGerbil
I have about 20 cars painted to at least a tabletop standard. I will try to get around to posting pictures soon. Good to see the update, Sherbert.
JMGraham
Wheels are maybe too small/ too few on the tanker? Or maybe it's riding too high on the wheels? Somehow the tanker looks wimpy and/or top-heavy. I say this not knowing what's to come, of course!
Mr.MoreTanks
Dude these are so amazing, I really want to try my hand at making a couple and playing a few games. How does it play mechanically? Pretty quick and easy? Average size game done in about 45 mins? These are seriously [big bad swear word]ing awesome. I am a huge Fury Road fan and am just in love with these models. I really don't need about mini-wargame right now, but damn, these are epic. nathonicus
OMG. The War Rig is amazing! I think it needs another set of wheels, though. Top work!
PourSpelur
I kinda like the "tanker on a wagon" look personally. That said, the doubled up back axle is pretty iconic for trailers. Either way, fantastic!
Sherbert
thanks for all the comments guys. Jim- I agree, I had a feeling it was too top heavy and now that other people also think so I will add some more wheels when able. Chaosgerbil- looking forward to seeing someone elses stuff. Its lonely out in the warlands. Mr.MoreTanks- Warlands is a easy and cinematic experience. The rules can be a odd at times and require some house edits but it makes for a great base game. I will be making some edits to the rules and adding a campaign system for my gaming club. Game length varies from points values and if you want to use a mission or not. update time! the trailer is almost done. I just need to add some weapons and double up the tires and I think ill call it quits and start working on the cab. thanks for looking everyone.
Sherbert
I got a little of work done on the cab, still needs a bunch of work.

Sherbert
I think its finally done. Added some ladders, guns and skulls. Not sure how much I can get painted before I leave later this week so expect a break for a couple of weeks.
KAPcom
As a gift to a family member (who loves hot wheels and mad max), I did these up to go in a display case. Thanks for the inspiration! I've enjoyed everything in this thread immensely.
Sherbert
oh cool, I mist this before. they look great. Are you going to make anymore or was this a one time thing? Ive been plugging away on stuff over the last couple of weeks and have managed to finish some crew. The plastic is pretty soft but hopefully it wont break or the paint wont rub off. And i got my order from Ramshackle Games. I opted for the mixed lot because you get 15 bikes instead of 11. I was worried that I would only get a couple of different types of sculpts but to my surprise I think I got every sculpt. On top of that they included some of the new crew models and guns which is awesome. The scale is perfect as well, which is great because they looked a little small on the website. I would highly recommend buying from Ramshackle, im very impressed. Ive also started painting the war rig but that will take a little while before its done.
Sherbert
Little update after a long time. I got half the bikes painted. Unfortunately my camera is having a hard time focusing on such small models. I am running a campaign that will start tomorrow so I will take some pictures.
Sherbert
Here are a couple of shots from the first night. Two players were not able to to show so they will need to play catch up. First mission was a scouting mission where players had to drop markers to claim regions on the table.

tombking
I will unlurk a bit here. Those look awesome. I have a legit PDF of the Dark Future rules and they were nice for the time... way better than Car Wars (Star Fleet Battles light) at least for faster and more fun game play. I actually had the game road tiles and all now all I have are the cars plus some metal GW bikes and 20mm people as well as some non GW metal cars and people. The biggest drawback was it was designed mostly for open highway for playing. I went looking and Thunder Road got a fair amount of game play at my old game group in St. Louis long ago. Great fun for a boardgame with just about the perfect amount of game length.
Sherbert
A couple of smaller vehicles that will have a place in the final battle. The final game of the campaign will be next Tuesday. I will take some picture since the mission will play around the capturing of the warrig. tombking- when I was looking for rules to use for these models I thought about using Thunder Road. What turned me off to the idea of using it was the small model count.
Sherbert
Last night we played the final game of the campaign. We had about 40 cars on the table which quickly became a bottle neck of mass destruction. A couple of cars were able to make it through the rumble and get up to the warrig. One hotrodder decided to get in front of the warrig to drop some oil, it worked but the warrig ended up sliding out of control into the same car and destroyed it. With the warrig slowed down, others were able to catch up. In the end no one was able to capture the warrig, but it was destroyed just before it could drive off the table. all in all we had 8 players battling it out against the warrig and convoy and managed to get through about 5 turns. I have a bunch of information to go off of for the next campaign so hopefully it will run a bit smoother. thanks again for everyone who played in the campaign and to Intrizic for stepping in to control the warrig and convoy for the final mission.
