A book that re-writes itself...

Anyone else get the feeling, sometimes, that the 40k BRB was worded differently the last time you read it? That the rules were more clear than when you look it up later? Is it possible that the BRB just re-writes itself....?

No because I know I have a [big bad swear word]ty memory. And having to read a new Roebuck every two years doesn't make that any better.

In my case, it's just the fact that I've got 6 editions' worth of Rules floating around in my head, combined with GW's tendency to flip things back and forth between editions. Just found out like two weeks ago that Vehicle Wrecks in 7th aren't Dangerous Terrain :P

I think the key to posting rules questions/theories in the 40,000 forums is to go look up the rule first and do some research first. Then post. It'd make the whole thing a lot easier. :)
