Guest
Again, double checking. If a dread comes stock with 2 melee weapons, do we still add an attack to the profile in game, or is it considered already included in the profile? In particular, the DC dread has 3 base attacks and 2 power fists stock. There is no mention regarding bonus attacks being included in their profile. Would this model be considered having 4 attacks without the charge in melee? Furioso Dread has 2 base attacks and 2 stock power fists. Again, no mention of bonus attacks being included in their profile. Would this model be considered having 3 attacks without the charge in melee? VonVilkee
Unless it says it is included or has a parentheses it is not already included. So the dreads have the higher number of attacks.
spagunk
And Space Marine dreads have an even higher number of attacks ;)
Guest
And Space Marine dreads have an even higher number of attacks ;) I said without the charge. Those DC dreads have rage, so they sport 6 swings on the charge. Furioso is lacking when compared to SM dreads, given that it's only got 4 swings on the charge, but it does have FA13... The regular BA dread only has 2 swings, 3 on the charge which really makes it lacking melee. And then the BA Libby Dread is pretty lacking at the base value, as it has a specialist and a non-specialist pair of weapons, so it only has 2 attacks, 3 on the charge. Thought that said, the primaris power for the BA discipline is +d3 attacks and +d3 initiative, so the dread isn't entirely lacking. And with all of these, there is a BA detachment that grants +1 initiative to everything, so even the regular dread could stand toe to toe with a fancy new SM dread in melee just because it would get to swing first.
