Guest
Got this "coal" basing stuff a while back, which I've been meaning to use. At present, I've two chapters where black paint is a major color. How important is it to have a basing that is a different color than the models? dalmer
Aesthetic purposes only and shooter's choice. If black paint is a major color but you have contrasting colors present, a black basing wouldn't throw things off too much.
spiralingcadaver
Yeah, I'd say that unless you're going for something camo or very close, it's better to focus on a bit of contrast, but there are places where it's okay.
