InfestedKerrigan
I may have to buy this issue of White Dwarf, just for the pin. The rest is kindling, at best. As for the Models, it looks like there is some room for extra weapons. One of the termies in WD has a pair of claws, but the pics from (Germany?) unboxing and priming don't have a Termie equipped that way. WestRider
The Contemptor is also shown in different pics with either a Multi-Melta or a Kheres-Pattern Assault Cannon.
InfestedKerrigan
Nice. Weapon options is a huge improvement over Space Hulk.
pretre
Multi-part real plastic kit is a huge improvement over any of the other board/starter boxes.
deadwing34
This is still looking really good, but I am just not sure that I need anymore marines. If the games ends up being pretty good I still might consider getting it.
fluger
This is looking more and more like a great bargain and a great way to get started in 40k.

BrainFireBob
Yeah, I have no desire for a full chapter- I have a 1st, 2nd, and 50% of a third Battle Company for my regular marines. But, plastic Contemptor and Cataphractii...

Nathanvoodoo
Don't you already have MASSIVE amounts of space marines? I was kinda excited to see if GW was going to give us Plebs access to HH - it seems they are instead giving us an expensive board game with a ton of space marines and the like. I was excited for the previous assassin game- until I actually saw it.

The game itself is basically a wrapper for the marines. It'll get thrown in a box and forgotten.

deadwing34
I kind of wish that GW would have either made this a full on starter set for 30k or made it a dual kit board game/wargame.

pretre
I kind of wish that GW would have either made this a full on starter set for 30k or made it a dual kit board game/wargame. They did. If you look at the WD, they mention specifically that this is a great starter set for 30k/40k and a board game. Let me see if I can dig it up. InfestedKerrigan
And thank Jarvis FW got away from only including pads with torsos. It'll make things soo much easier. And if you're having a hard time finding it in Pretres post, it is the entirety of the sidebar.

Let me see if I can dig it up. But it only has the actual rules to play the board game, no rules for playing 30k or 40k for that matter. I am just not sure what GW strategy is for 30k, will it be just the FW 30k rule set or will they have their own rule set and associated books.
