Just have them advance while they're in reserve- that's what a cunning general does. AgentP Posted November 22, 2015 Author Report Share Posted November 22, 2015 So I played this list at the Guardian Cup Lite yesterday, and generally was okay. I realized after the fact, like whenever you play and army for the first time, that there were a million rules I forgot to use, and stupid things I did. But I definitely learned a few things: 1. The Stormsurge is a workhorse of incredible proportions. It beats the Ghostkeel, even in Optimized Stealth formation, for best new addition. 2. The Stormsurge absolutely needs the 4++ shield. Just spend the points, they are worth it. 3. Despite how awesome the Stormsurge is, I continue to rank the Riptide as the best overall unit for the points in the codex. 4. I'm seriously considering dropping the optimized stealth formation for a second Stormsurge. 2 Surges and 2 Riptides would be a blast to play. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
