PourSpelur
I use Ranier Connect for my internet and couldn't be happier. Great price, best customer service I've experienced in a long time. If it's available in your area check them out. Honest to goodness, 10 out of 10.
InfestedKerrigan
I use Charter. Well, it's a charter franchise ran by the City of Medford. It blows.
PourSpelur
Yeah, it feels pretty foreign to type "awesome internet provider". Never had a good experience with ANY telecom company before dealing with Ranier Connect. 1) I had to buy a router, Ranier's guy told me where I could buy it cheaper than theirs. It's only a $5 difference but the offer was appreciated. 2) Every person I've spoken to there was pleasant and knowledgeable. 3) Called yesterday to report internet down. Construction crew a couple blocks away accidently severed the line. He asked me what street I was on in case others called about the same issue, crews had service back up in about 2 hours and customer support called back afterwards to confirm it was back up.
WestRider
I've been really happy with CenturyLink, but apparently they're only actually good in the areas they inherited from Qwest. Next time I move, I'll check out Ranier.
InfestedKerrigan
CenturyLink is down here, too, but they blow harder than Charter. Le sigh. Probably doesn't help that I live on the other side of the tracks.
pretre
I have Frontier in Camas and enjoy it a lot.
Duckman
I also use Frontier but I have business service so I'm not sure I really count. That said... My internet works in spite of power outages. Worst case, they run out of gas for the generator and I call support and 15 minutes later someone is at the central station with a gas can filling it back up.

It's just that they haven't yet managed to screw up the areas that they got when they bought out Qwest.
andozane
I just switched from Comcast to Centurylink (I'm in one of their new Fiber networks)...good price....fast connection. Now to wait a year before deciding to opt back to the other evil internet provider in Portland (Comcast)... We are all still hoping Google Fiber becomes a reality...
Romans832
I've had Comcast in Vancouver, WA & here in Tacoma, WA. Never had problems with them. They too have suggested going elsewhere for inexpensive hardware. Though, it could be said because I'm deep in cities that's why it's so strong? You are probably the exception then... ;) I have had tons of problems with Comcast over the years. I was so happy when frontier was available.
