fluger
This is proof positive that GW does NOT make broken rules to sell models. They specifically FAQed the VSG to a more manageable level and THEN release a new model to sell. Had they really been as dastardly as some claim, they'd've stayed with the more powerful interpretations of the VSG and released the model. In any event, remember this the next time someone complains about power creep to sell models.
pretre
It's $25 cheaper than the resin model ($100?)
Guest
Honestly, I think the original release was to copyright the model, since it was released closer to the chapterhouse lawsuit issues. I doubt they made much money on it, just due to how limited the release was. Now, they've finally got the plastic version built and produced, and they're looking to make money on the model. Skkipper
The original void sheild and plasma obliterator was a trial on farming out resin casting to china. they order a batch of kits for a test run. the casting on the void shield and plasma obliterator was not up to GW quality so i doubt that we will see many more of those kind of pieces
