pretre
Placeholding for when I finally get my arse in gear. Space Wolves! Sisters! Deathwatch! Superfriends? Codex Marines? So many choices. Right now, I'm leaning toward the old TWC and Wulfen with Superfriends standby. I haven't gotten a chance to play with the new psychic powers yet so I could go with the Lib Conclave on bikes that I have used in the past. Alternatively, I always like the SOB and SW mixup. I've also been thinking about trying to get some DW assembled and painted and doing either DW and SOB or DW and SW. Choices, choices. edit: Current front-runner because of the GW Draft FAQ: List 3 - Gladius -=Gladius Strike Force=- (Chapter Tactics White Scars. Hit and Run and Skilled Rider. CT lost when attached to SW. Each doctrine once. Free transports.) Demi-Company (Ob-Sec, +1 Tactical Doc) Kor'sarro Khan with Moondrakken - 150 5 Tacticals with Plasma in Drop Pod - 85 5 Tacticals with Melta in Drop Pod - 85 5 Tacticals with Melta in Drop Pod - 85 5 Dev with ML x2 in Drop Pod - 100 5 Assault with Flamer x2 in Drop Pod - 80 Demi-Company (Ob-Sec, +1 Tactical Doc) Chaplain on Bike - 110 5 Tacticals with Plasma in Drop Pod - 85 5 Tacticals with Melta in Drop Pod - 85 5 Tacticals with Melta in Drop Pod - 85 5 Dev with ML x2 in Drop Pod - 100 5 Assault with Flamer x2 in Drop Pod - 80 10th Company SF (Conceal and Precision) 5 Scouts - 55 5 Scouts - 55 5 Scouts - 55 -=CotGW Detachment=- WGBL with PF/SS and TWM - 140 Elite Iron Priest with TWM and Cyberwolves x4 - 165 7 Wulfen with 2 SFAL, 2 GFA, 2 TH/SS - 270 10 Ob-sec Pods. TWC, Bikes and Wulfen join together. Yucky. I feel bad even typing it. SW characters attached to Wulfen still get the benefits of Wulfen, which is nice and Wulfen can still run and charge even with non-wulfen attached. Makes for an icky unit.
Threejacks
Main reason I bought into the new DW is I think they would compliment my TWC/Wulfen SW pretty well.First thing being the Blackstar is a much cheaper flyer yet pretty much does everything the Stormwolf does and the DW can build some fairly decent ranged support squads. Low model count all around is likely still going to keep them in the middle of the pack competative speaking though...

Yeah, I'm tempted to pick up a blackstar, but even with it being cheaper, it still seems expensive points wise. I am not a fan of low model count, but sometimes I end up there anyways.
Guest
Oh, side note, GG has like 20 metal sisters in their used model area. Primed black and in a plastic container, within the glass case, which makes them hard to spot. As for suggestions, painting up SW to be Santa Clause and his wolven "reindeer" would be pretty fun for the November GG cup.

pretre
I posted in the GC thread to get an official answer on the draft faq. I'll pause until I get that.
pretre
Well, without a firm answer, I suppose I will have to assume the FAQs will be implemented. Off to the drawing board.
pretre
Using the Draft FAQ does make friends+Deathpack or Friends + Deathpack + Murderpack very tempting since the draft faq allows you to add characters and keep the wulfen/deathpack special rules for charging. pretre
Also noodling a SW Deathpack + Murderpack with either a CAD or Blackmanes.
pretre
Either way, I think Pods will play a part in my list pretty heavily to use the, pretty ridiculous, drop pod doors ruling:
PumpkinHead
The drop pod ruling for the doors is going to get vetoed HARD in the ITC. I can't imagine anyone thinking it is a good idea.

pretre
I could, of course, go back to my Ob-Sec spam Gladius + CotGW army I went to the last Annihilation with, or was that the one before? It has 5 pods, so that makes things fun. I probably have enough pods now to replace some of the rhinos and razors with more pods.
